We cannot begin to thank you enough for your extremely generous donation. The marker is absolutely beautiful! I could not be more delighted, and the family was so very touched and moved.

The ceremony we had for William was so very special. I have included pictures of the Crepe Myrtle tree we planted and the marker. There is also a program enclosed, as well. Please note our acknowledgement at the end of the program.

We feel so very blessed that you donated the maker, David. We are to move out of our school in two years, but the marker and tree will remain there. It is in a butterfly garden near dogwood trees.

Our entire school is so appreciative of your time, effort, artistry, and concern for William. William's family attended the ceremony and took several pictures while the student' note cards were hanging from the tree with the marker.

Dear Mr. Hiers,

We went down to Fairfax on Thursday, May 17, and checked out the cemetery and the monument - we liked it very much. The stone is in keeping with what was already in place.
